International Day to End Impunity for Crimes against Journalists 2019
On the occasion of the International Day to End Impunity for Crimes against Journalists 2019, the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media, Harlem Désir, highlights the need to take action and protect journalists. Around 400 journalists have been killed in the OSCE region in the past 25 years. Less than 15% of these murders have been solved.
