OSCE conference participants make recommendations on improving media environment in South East Europe

From 18 to 20 September 2013, more than 180 journalists, representatives of civil society, government and academics, along with international experts, gathered in Tirana, Albania, to take part in the 3rd South East Europe Media Conference.

During the conference the participants discussed the most pressing media freedom issues in the region, such as the independence of public broadcasters and regulators, Internet freedom, digitalization and safety of journalists.
