About
Staff from the Office of the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media will participate in roundtable discussions on best practices in the implementation of international standards and OSCE commitments in the area of freedom of the media and expression at an event in Ashgabat.
The discussions will focus on freedom of expression online and bring together international experts, members of the Mejlis, representatives of relevant ministries and institutions, as well as representatives of national print, broadcast and online media. International and OSCE experts will also discuss with participants on ways of ensuring access to government-held information through the Internet and protection of personal data.
