About
The purpose of the conference is to review the current situation and recent developments with a particular focus on identifying new challenges related to the safety of journalists in the OSCE region. The conference will also serve as a platform to take stock of the implementation of Vilnius Recommendations on Safety of Journalists (2011) and to provide input for a new edition of the OSCE Handbook on Safety of Journalists, with the aim to assist the OSCE participating States in ensuring safe working conditions for members of the media in the OSCE region.
