About
The conference "Journalists Under Attack: a threat to media freedom" will assist OSCE participating States with implementing the 2018 Ministerial Council Decision on the Safety of Journalists and providing safe working conditions to journalists and other media workers.
The event will also provide testimonies by journalists who have been victims of attacks, to illustrate the gravity of the situation in the OSCE region, as well as a forum for analyses, discussions, and the sharing of good practices. It will further assist in the development of relevant frameworks and examine the different ways to monitor and address attacks and violence against journalists and media workers.
Simultaneous interpretation during the event will be provided in English, Russian, French, Italian and Serbian.
