About
Thomas Hammarberg, Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights, will present an issue paper “Protection of Journalists from Violence" written by OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media, Dunja Mijatović. They will be joined by Sergey Sokolov, Deputy Editor of Novaya Gazeta, in a discussion on the issue.
The event is being held in memory of Novaya Gazeta jounalist Anna Politkovskaya who was murdered in Moscow in 2006.
