The second expert meeting will focus on the legal implications of Open Journalism, protection of media freedom online, and how the new voices of Open Journalism are recognized and safeguarded with regards to basic human rights.
Among the experts participating in the meeting are Yaman Akdeniz (Professor, Bigli University), Begaim Usenova (Director, Media Policy Institute), Tarlach McGonagle (Senior researcher, Institute for Information Law), Irina Levova (Russian Association of Electronic Communications), and Wolfgang Kleinwaechter (Professor, Aarhus University).
