About
The OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media, Dunja Mijatović, will participate in the seminar Would You Ban "Hate Speech"?, which will examine content-based restrictions and speech leading to imminent danger. The Director of the Office of the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media, Andrey Rikhter, will also attend the event.
The seminar aims to shed new light on two schools of legal responses to hate speech: banning hate speech because of its content, and banning incitement to hatred only when it causes imminent danger. For more information on the event, please visit the seminar website.
