About
The OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media, Dunja Mijatović, will participate in an international human rights conference focussing on experience and good human rights practice across Europe to improve human rights implementation across the region. The conference, which will gather representatives from governments, international organizations, private enterprises, civil society and academia, aims to improve implementation of human rights in Europe by taking stock of existing cooperation between global and regional human rights mechanisms
The Representative will give a presentation at one of the conference's panel discussions entitled Setting human rights standards and monitoring their implementation at national and local levels: is a sharper strategic focus needed, and improved prioritisation? What role can national human rights institutions play in this?
