About
The Principal Adviser of the Office of the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media, Juan Barata, will participate at a international conference entitled “Freedom of information under pressure”, organized by University of Vienna. Barata will give an opening address at the conference on freedom of expression.
The event will gather more than 30 international speakers that will engage in an open discussion on the challenges of freedom of information in the light of the recent surveillance revelations and the increase in censorship and prosecutions of media, journalists and whistle-blowers in Europe and beyond.
