OSCE RFoM Dunja Mijatović in Ukraine

The Representative visited Ukraine (Kyiv and Crimea) 4-7 March and again on 14-16 April (Kyiv, Kharkiv and Odesa) to make a first-hand assessment of the media freedom situation and to meet with senior government officials, civil society and media representatives.

Statement by the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media on denial of entry of journalists from one OSCE participating State to another

VIENNA, 3 April 2014

I encourage participating States to fulfil their OSCE commitments and refrain from any steps to restrict the free flow of information. In addition, journalists negatively affected by denials of entry should be given the opportunity to appeal.
