Staff from the Office of the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media will attend the National Media Conference on Media Development in Mongolia. The conference will provide an opportunity to discuss a stock of issues affecting media development and sustainability in Mongolia. The conference will also touch on subjects like media policy reform, through plenary and parallel meetings on topics related to freedom of expression, pluralism and diversity of the media, legal environment of broadcast and online media, the role of the professional associations, media self-regulation, media accountability, right to reply, and gender sensitivity while reporting.
